The early years are a critical time for brain development, emotional growth and connection. Many families want to include more music in everyday life but aren’t always sure what to sing, how to engage their child, or whether they’re “doing it right”.

Anne Belcher (B.Mus, B.A Psych, Dip.Ed) has been teaching music to babies, children, families and educators for over twenty years.

Through Branch Into Music, Anne creates welcoming, research-informed music experiences that support children’s development while helping families feel confident, relaxed and connected.

Anne also delivers professional learning for educators across Victoria and teaches early childhood music to pre-service teachers at Federation University.

More Than a Music Class

Whole-Body Learning
Music is a full-body, whole-brain experience that supports early literacy, numeracy, motor skills and emotional expression.

Carefully Planned Experiences
Each 30-minute class is thoughtfully structured, combining beat-keeping, singing, instruments, movement and active listening.

Designed for Young Children
Songs are short, repetitive and within a comfortable vocal range, helping children build confidence and musical skills naturally.

Cost & Enrolment

Come along to a free trial class

Classes are $19 per session and include free access to our online portal (valued at $240 per term), so you can revisit weekly classes at home anytime.

Full payment is made at the start of term (or pro-rata if starting mid-term).
Family discounts are available for siblings, and casual or payment plan options can be discussed individually.

Term 1 2026 begins Monday 2 February and runs for nine weeks.

Branch Into Music classes are a real highlight of the week, both for my boys and myself. My two boys aged 2 and 4 love attending Anne’s classes and I thoroughly enjoy watching them dance, sing and interact with other children through music. The half hour music classes are innovative and stimulating for children of all ages. Anne’s enthusiasm, in depth knowledge and passion for music are evident in all aspects of her teaching. Each class is well researched and thoroughly planned. Anne uses a wide range of musical and non-musical props to engage the children and enhance her lessons. She also explains and demonstrates the developmental benefits of music. The classes deliver a valuable and thoroughly enjoyable experience for all.
